For my hope and joy task I chose Casey Tutunji
I think that Casey shows hope and joy because of his great courage towards life. He has great courage towards life. He has an optimistic look on every thing. I would refer to him as always looking as a glass half full instead of half empty. Hope is to have a dream or a wish that may seem impossible but if you have hope and faith to make your dream have more of an opportunity to make your dream come true. Joy, joy is pretty much the same it is basically the perfect pair for hope. Because when you hope and when your dreams come true you are filled with joy. When there are rough times never give up just keep trying and always think of a glass half not half empty. When Casey’s accident happened his wife was nearly due to have their first child and his wife did not leave him she stuck by he’s side and supported him every step of the way. Book ReviewThis is a book about a girl called Annie(obviously) that has a very special chair that she cherishes very much. She is very precious about her chair and she doesn’t let anyone use it. But when she realises that she can’t get her dog off her chair a dilemma occurs, in the end they both decide to share the chair but the dog can only be on the chair when Annie is on the chair as well. I recommend this book for 4-6 year olds for a parent or guardian to read to the child. Or for 7-10 year olds to read to them selves if there confident.

Do you enjoy reading heart breaking and heart warming novels that will keep you teary through out all 313 pages. Well if so this is the perfect book for you. It will fit you like a glove. It will have your eyes sore from reading and crying but I can reassure you, you will put all that aside because you won’t want to miss out. You will be wanting to purchase the new edition book. (It came out after the movie) it has a few pictures that will make it all come together.
The book is about a girl named Hazel with a traumatic disease that limits her ability to do everyday things that we take advantage of everyday. She goes to a support group and falls in love with Gus who is another guy who is incredibly sick too. I won’t tell you the rest. (SPOIL ALERT)
I recommend this book for year olds and older it has some mature terms that are quite depressing and hit you close to heart. This book defiantly isn’t for beginners it is more of an advanced level book.

Early life: When Stuart was younger he would enjoy filling in his time playing sport outside and he was very good at it. Because he was very good at it he won medals for his great efforts. Some of the sports he won medals for were javelin, discus,100m and cricket. Even though he quit football at an early age he quite enjoyed it.
Schooling life: At school Stuart was a fan of math. He mainly enjoyed it because it 
was a subject he could understand and he was also very good at it. He went to school at Horsham primary school and travelled to school by bike.
At home: At home he had 1 brother and 1 sister. His sister being the oldest of all 3 and Stuart being the middle child. The family had a pet cat called puss. It wasn’t a very creative name and that’s because they couldn’t think of one.
Taste bud: Stuart’s favourite restaurant is Mano’s Italian restaurant in QLD. It has really good Italian food. One of his most enjoyable snacks is a mango, he likes the sweetness of it and his favourite drink is a ridiculously hot coffee.

Text to self: This text makes me feel slightly sad because it is about war and making it stop and that is sad because war is a situation that involves killing, trapping and rivalry just to win a battle, and this video just makes you realise it can happen, war can stop, everyone just has to put in and try. Just try. Not everything has to have a result of war. We can all live happily ever after. It makes you feel sorry for the soldiers because in one part of the video the children run up to a soldier and give him a flower it makes me think the soldier really is a big softy his just putting on this brave face because he has to.
Text to text: This text relates to the STOP, THINK, RESPECT ad because the song is about stoping war and racism and both of the clips are about making it stop, and making the world accept people for who they are and stoping racism. Why , why, racism should not be a problem. Certainly not in Australia anyway.
Text to world: At the moment there is a war going on in between Ukraine and Russia and there is also a war going on in Israel that is with the Palestinian’s . These are not the only 2 wars happening around the world there are lots of more wars going on that we don’t hear about and they are all about different things. These 2 are just the main ones I have heard about on the news the most often.

We were waiting for the plane to arrive it was as big as 10 elephants and as loud as a screaming goat. We boarded the plane and then we were off, it was as quick as lightning. Before we knew it we were there. The next day I walked over to the apartments pool but their was a group of kids splashing around like dolphins, so I hoped in the spa instead. I walked back and got dressed to go out for dinner. We went to our favourite place Mano’s Italian Restaurant, the food tastes amazing like life. 5 days passed and we were off like a jet soon to be landing in Melbourne.

We were at roller way and we just wanted a bucket of chips but No that was to hard wasn’t it. We asked for some chips ” no you have to wait they ” said. It felt like a lifetime, it was like waiting for a time bomb to go off. Finally there was some in the window, we went up to them. “Sorry there were people before you” no there weren’t we thought to ourselves anyway we eventually got the chips so happy days.

we walked in and boom. The smell was so strong it hit you like a brick. The prices were as high as a plane and the perfume smelt like a rose.
CREATION STORY REFLECTION
For the success criteria I chose Hot and I finished all the tasks. I compared all of my stories to the genesis story. I did the genesis story of course the Pan gu and nu wa story the birth in the dawn and The snake goddess colours the world. I also made a connection with all the stories, and did a summary on what the stories were about.

I was walking down the street and I saw this sleezy man with a mustache following me with his eyes as I walked past. My wallet was in my back pocket But I didn’t think much of it. before I knew it my belongings were gone. I turned around to see this man sprinting away with a hoodie on. He’s up to no good I thought to myself. I chased him down an ally way. If I didn’t come here I would never have known it was like this. I see the soccer though. I guess that’s what happens in brazil.

Our learning intention was to use more emotive and challenging words in our text and we have demonstrated this in our story below.
Chloe walked out of her classroom with her friends that had been laughing all through class until they got a little muzzy after her teacher had told her she would be facing detention on Saturday. During lunch Chloe was thinking about her detention and was feeling pugnacious towards her muggins bully. Chloe went up to her bully and tryed to approch her with a calm and positive attitude she decided not to make it a huge issue. Her bullie and her sat down and had a talk about what had happened and her bullie realised she had done the wrong thing and said sorry. Chloe was walking to detension and she came across a scintillating sign that made her relise that not everything is perfect in life and dont get upset over little things just build a bridge and get over it. Chloe sat through detension with a smile knowing everything was ok.”yay!”
I dibs the last cookie says Georgia but I haven’t had any cookies bad luck I dibsed it. I ran over to Mum and said, I get the last cookie ,whatever Mum replied but you can’t have it until after dinner. OKAY. After that I complained and complained to Dad ” I’m board.” well why don’t you go and ride your scooter or something ohh I’ve got an idea why don’t you play a game with Georgia NOOOOOO she’s being so mean to me all just because I dibsed the last cookie . Well it’s nearly dinner time any way. MMMM this dinner is the most delicious dinner I’ve ever had I put my dishes in the dishwasher and ran over to the cookie jar but when I lifted the lid.
I think Charlotte you did a great job at your work on the creation story, you summarised your story’s very well. I think you used your time very efficiently.

it looks like you used your time well. you have put a lot of punctuation in it. How you have wrote your text to self is amazing you took me to another place, with the words and descriptive language that you have used. with your text to text I think that the language that you have used is fantastic. But next time I think you could read a bit slower.

in the first couple of sentences at the start of your biography the information you gave us was very interesting and I learnt a lot. I like it how you named your named your headings like tastebuds. but as I said for your texts maybe next time you could read a bit more slower. But other then that I think that you did an awesome job.
